Last week I got to see Datura growing in the garden, and it seems to be a good canidate for my research on medicinal plants. It is also apart of the nightshade family (I was thinking about researching deadly nightshade). All parts of Datura are toxic. It is also known as the devils trumpet. This week I am working on my research proposal, which is more difficult than I thought it would be. I don't know how to turn my topic of medicinal plants into a research question with a dependent and independent variable, and measurable units. I found one source, but it wasn't easy so I might just use some of the articles that are more generalized to my topic.
