Blog post week 10

After repeating the other one last week, I tried a new kit, so now we have three samples in the freezer to compare. I will do another kit tomorrow, and then on Thursday, we can check the purity of each of their DNA. Once we compare them, we can decide which kit to use in future semesters. This kit I did today was more straightforward with fewer steps, so hopefully, this is the one that wins the purest DNA. The kit I did today required a higher temperature of 95 degrees celsius on the heat block, compared to the previous kit, which required 65 degrees Celsius.
